This is not acceptable

It is inappropriate for a public servant to donate to the campaign of the Minister they report to. Furthermore, it is wrong for Hipkins to countenance this behaviour.

On reflection I think Foon’s offence was worse(a serving high official in a supposedly non-partisan role acting in a way overtly declaring a partisan allegiance). Allan was a backbencher BUT presumably had strong expectations of being a minister shortly.https://t.co/u1Z7TG4EnC
