From The Telegraph in London a list of the Top 10 most irritating phrases as compiled by researchers at Oxford University
The top ten most irritating phrases:
1 – At the end of the day
2 – Fairly unique
3 – I personally
4 – At this moment in time
5 – With all due respect
6 – Absolutely
7 – It’s a nightmare
8 – Shouldn’t of
9 – 24/7
10 – It’s not rocket science

Adam thinks that phrase number 2 or variations thereon is one of the most irritating.
A great list. But it misses the most annoying phrase of all:
“Going forward…”

I love using metaphors when I talk to my clients. My problem is that they become rather mixed and the message becomes rather confused.
