National’s Leadership – Preliminary Thoughts 2

Simon Bridges is being touted as the new National leader. Adam cannot see why. He has an unfortunate speaking voice and is unlikely to shine against Ardern. He brings baggage as well such as the Bridges for Northland which never happened. In addition Winston is unlikely to warm to the man who occupies his seat – Tauranga. Plus he can come across as smarmy. If he wins it will be as caretaker which is unwise, as National’s polls will take a nasty hit.
