Something is very wrong here

Please explain to me how it is that NewsTalk ZB has only 3 people supporting Hosking, host of the leading daily breakfast show, yet 16 support the 2 hosts of Morning Report. Clearly either Hosking is working too hard, or RNZ is suffering from an outmoded operating environment, or is a very heavily unionised and featherbedded operation.

I should like to understand what the real product costs of the respective programmes are.
